I enjoy experimenting with different mediums in my work, although I mostly paint with acrylics and watercolors - which requires two very different techniques.

When I do commission paintings, I like to paint a small test piece first, and I ask my clients a lot of questions about their preferences early on. This provides so much clearity, and helps the process go smoothly. My aim is to make it an exciting and memorable experience, with a unique final product.

This 'Magnolia Birds' mural was painted for our girls' bedroom, combining a delicate blend of white and soft pink, and featuring an assortment of flowers and exotic birds. I can bring your imagination to life, adding a touch of magic to your home or workspace. I work closely with you to understand your unique vision and create a personalized mural. Together, let's turn your dreams into vibrant realities that leave a lasting impression!

About

My name is Kjersti Brähler and I'm a self-taught artist and teacher with a master's degree in special needs education. I was born in 1992 in the charming city of Bergen, Norway, where I now live with my husband and two small children.

In 2019, the arrival of our first little girl brought me newfound inspiration and motivation to paint. I began creating animal art and fell in love with the creative and meditative process. My artwork often incorporates motifs and colors that evoke positive feelings such as serenity, joy, and affection.

Thank you so much for being here, I hope you enjoy!

Lots of love,

Kjersti
